This logo was created for a proposed grant program for Nursing students at a local university. The S3 stands for Study Skills, Support and Success Strategies and the client wanted a logo that wasn't as wordy as the program name, but also something that could be used on travel mugs and t-shirts. Below are some of the other logos that were designed in the original draft session.
These logos were designed based off of rough ideas the client had that they wanted expanded upon.
This logo was created for Manual Dexterity Music Zine for their A Sound Design article series that delves into the design and packaging of album art and the designers of said albums. Working with the idea of the designs being made on a computer and vinyl records being a much beloved product of listening to music, we came up with the idea of a twirled mouse cord resembling a vinyl record.
Like some scary stories, sometimes the call comes from inside the house. As is the case with this design. I got a text from the client, my daughter, asking me if I could design a logo for her weightlifting team at school that would later be voted on by her teammates. As luck would have it, this design was picked and was printed on the team's t-shirts for that season of weightlifting.
This logo was an idea for a single cylinder motorcycle repair shop in Monticello, MN. The logo was designed to reflect the shape of a single piston head and cylinder which in turn reflected the purpose of the shop. The name Motocello, "little motorcycle", is a play on the city name Monticello, which translates to "little mountain".
